The Hydrology & Environment & Climate (HEC) Laboratory at Kyonggi University is directed by Professor Myoung-Jin Um since 2019. Our Lab seeks to understand the interactions between Hydrology, Environment and Climate Change within the earth system and utilizes our understanding toward sustainable management of water resources and water-related disasters. We develop and utilize a range of computational and statistical models to perform hydrologic and environmental tasks such as extreme nature phenomena (i.e. stormwater, flood, drought, typhoon and so on), climate change, spatiotemporal analysis and deep learning algorithm.
